DONATION … Thank you to the Bryan Rotary Foundation for donating $15,000 to the future Bryan Inclusive Playground! Being built on the former Lincoln Elementary School site, the playground will provide children and families of all physical, mental, and social abilities the chance to learn, play, and grow together. The ground-breaking and construction of the playground is being planned for this fall, with the grand opening of it in the spring of 2024. Pictured left to right are Bryan Rotary Foundation representative Glen Newcomer; the City of Bryan, Director of Parks and Recreation Ben Dominique; Bryan Area Foundation Director of Communications and Programs Jenny Horn; and Bryan Rotary Club President Dan Yahraus.
