Charles Bowers (1962 – 2023)

Charles A. Bowers, age 61, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023, at Parkview Montpelier Hospital following a sudden illness.

Charles worked on the door line at Therma-Tru in Butler. He was a member of the Montpelier Moose and the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.

Charles A. Bowers was born on June 15, 1962, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Charles L. and Barbara H. (Nagy) Bowers. He was a graduate of Montpelier High School. Charles married Dee A. Thiel in Bryan on July 23, 1982 and she survives.


Charles is also survived by his daughters, Jamie (Buddy) Harris, of Waterville and Crystal Bowers, of Bryan; his mother, Barbara Bowers, of Bryan; brothers, Randy (Sherri) Bowers, of Montpelier, Tim (Tammy) Bowers, of Edon and Dan (Kim) Bowers, of Pioneer and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Bowers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon. Funeral services will be held immediately afterward, beginning at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Daniel Borgelt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Blakeslee.
