Clarence E. Pike, age 85, of Wauseon, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at the Fulton County Health Center.

Clarence was born on January 26, 1933, in Hudson, Michigan to the late Glen and Maggie (Wentz) Pike.  He graduated high school, and on June 29, 1958, he married Sue Carolyn Terwilliger.  Clarence was a farmer all of his life and also did drainage tiling.  He very much enjoyed woodworking, with some of his pieces going to notable persons and places.  He also enjoyed cutting down trees into firewood, the Boston Celtics, and going to Arizona.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sue; children; Jeffery Pike, Julie Pike, and Denise (Douglas) Rutter; sister, Hazel (Jim) Figy; and brothers-in-law, Richard (Gwen) Terwilliger and George Smith.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Helen Smith.

According to the wishes of the family, cremation will take place and there will be no services.  Those planning a monetary contribution in Clarence’s memory are asked to consider the Delta Community Fire and E.M.S. or the Fulton County Fair.

Online condolences may be offered at www.grisierfh.com.  The Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with Clarence’s care and arrangements.
