Two men in the City of Bryan have recently stepped up, showing that they have hearts willing to invest in their community.

Scott Sullivan from Town & Country and Ivan Cruz from Reliable Metal Buildings, LLC. couldn’t stand idly by when disaster hit Justice Animal Rescue (JAR).

JAR shared that “…so many lives are about to be changed for the better thanks to Scott Sullivan from Town & Country and Ivan Cruz.”

“They didn’t have to do this, but I think it speaks volumes as to who they are as individuals, they not only care about the people in their community, but they also strive to make a difference.”

“All of us here at JAR can’t thank you enough, you both have impacted our little rescue forever.”

In the beginning of May, the unthinkable happened, and JAR’s shelter went up in flames, resulting in the heavy loss of eight canine lives.

The community has come together with donations and support, and Chewy donated a touching memorial painting in honor of the lives lost.

The lost canines will be remembered, with the painting planned to hang in the new shelter in loving memory of Millie, Buford, Charlie, Tubby, Toodles, Sarah, Tilly, and Mavis.
