A rather short council meeting was held on Monday, March 28, 2022 with no committee reports or Manager’s report.

Council present voted to approve Resolution 1342 Advertise for Bid and Contract for CSO Phase (suspend and pass) and Resolution 1343 Authorize participation in ODOT 22-23 Winter Road Salt Contract (suspend and pass).

Mayor Steve Yagelski welcomed a large number of students from the High School Government class and Edgerton Mayor Robert Day and his wife to the meeting.

When he opened the floor for any comments from the audience, a Montpelier resident asked for advise concerning her property line.

Mayor Yagelski thanked her for coming to the council and said she should contact Mark Smith and he would put it on the Planning and Zoning Committee meeting agenda.

Village Manager Jason Rockey was not present and had not given anyone a report to be read at the meeting, so with no further business, council went into executive session to discuss employment of a public employee, and Acquisition of Property.
