Delta Lady Panthers Clip Pettisville 7-6 In BBC/NWOAL Showdown

WAUSEON:  May 06- The Pettisville Lady Blackbirds took the home field at Biddle Park in Wauseon for a showdown with the Delta Lady Panthers, falling by the narrow margin of 7-6 in the game decided in the final inning.

Teagan Kauffman took the loss on the mound, going 7 innings and giving up 11 hits with 7 earned runs on the afternoon.  Kauffman also struck out 4 Lady Panther  hitters in the loss.

Kauffman had a nice afternoon at the plate offensively, powering out a 2 run over the fence shot in the loss and also hitting for a single.  Stephanie Hubby and Audra Klopfenstein also connect for round trippers in the loss while Marissa Beck recorded a double.  Emily Hubby had 2 singles  while Amber Klopfenstein and Johanna Roth also contributed hits on the day.
