Edon Four County Student Helps Fairlawn Residents Celebrate 15 Years Of Partnership

hospitality luncheon (34)Four County Career Center’s Hospitality Services class recently hosted a luncheon at Fairlawn Retirement Community to celebrate 15 years of Partnership in Education between Fairlawn and the program. The students in the Hospitality Services program provide assistance to the independent living residents through washing windows, planting flowers, helping to bake cookies, or whatever they can to assist the residents. In return, the Fairlawn residents become mentors to the students to encourage social skills and provide another caring adult in their lives Shown during the “Thank You Certificate Presentation” are Hospitality Services student (RIGHT) Gadjeal Howard (Edon) with Fairlawn resident (LEFT) Gertrude Hit. Doug Tyas is the Hospitality Services instructor; and Stephanie Sager is the Hospitality Services aide.
