Fayette School Board Approves Three-Year Contract With Normal Memorial Library

The Fayette Local School Board convened for their Regular Meeting on April 13, 2020 at 7:00pm Virtually via Zoom Meeting. The Board accepted the donation of $2,452.06 from Fayette Athletic Boosters to purchase Soft Plyo Boxes and Track Equipment.

The Board accepted the letter of resignation from Paige Grosjean as a preschool teacher effective March 27, 2020. The Board also approved unpaid leave for Rita Fernandez from April 1 – May 1, 2020.

The Board approved revisions to the 2020-2021 School calendar as follows:  August 13, 2020 Teacher Workday/Open House and August 17, 2020 Teacher In-Service Day. The Board also approved to supersede Board Policy 8210 – School Calendar aligned to Governor DeWine’s and the Ohio Department of Health’s mandated school closure order effective immediately through the end of the 2019-2020 school year or when the order is lifted whichever is first.

The Board entered into a three- year contract with the Fayette Normal Memorial Library to provide library services to our district for FY 2020-2023.


The next meeting is scheduled for May 11, 2020.
