FAYETTE VILLAGE COUNCIL: Council Learns Of Upcoming Fundraiser For Pickleball Courts

The Fayette Council meeting started with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. The council approved the meeting minutes from the February 9, 2022 meeting as well as the Finance committee minutes from February 16, 2022.

David Borer, Mayor, advised council that the Legion Auxiliary is putting on a dinner on March 19, 2022 at the Family Life Center, the donations are going towards the pickleball court. Spring Cleanup is scheduled for June 18, 2022 with ARS.

Karin Sauerlander, treasurer, said the capital Budget shows the splash pad coming from the park fund of $125,000.

Wellfield fencing is coming from the water enhancement fund, expected expenses of $84,000 with a grant of $74,000. Council approved the payment of bills in the amount of $71,701.79.

Council approved the first reading of Ordinance 2022-01. This allows council to make current expenses for Fayette.


Council approved the third reading of Resolution 2022-02, this resolution expresses the intent of council to conduct an internet auction for the sale of unneeded personal property owned by the Village.

No other business was discussed and Council approved to adjourn.
