Four County Career Center Board Of Education Discusses Contracts

The April Meeting of the Four County Career Center Board of Education was held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. Prior to the regular board meeting, a public hearing was held on the reemployment of retirees Judy Leininger and Steve Hootman.

As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the Board accepted and/or approved the following items:
• March Meeting Minutes.
• Financial statements and investments for March 2017 as presented.
• Appropriation modifications as presented.

As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the following items:
• A three-year contract to Supervisor Bill Jeffery, effective July 1, 2017.

• A “One-Year Contract” for the following certified staff:
Steve Inkrott

• A second “One-Year Contract” for the following certified staff:
Amanda Mohler, Erin Custer, Brooke Majewski, Chelsea Redfox

• A “Two-Year Contract” for the following certified staff:
Matt Dye, Larry Soles

• A “Three-Year Contract” for the following certified staff:
Shawne Bonney, Ellie Cichocki, Kim Cordes, Tonya Fisher, Rachel Fry, Lisa Hall, Toby Kennerk, Kimberly Kinsman, Vickie Knapke, Kevin Thomas, Jill Westhoven

• A “Continuing Contract” for the following certified staff:
Mary Jane Kline, AD Mendoza, Tim Ricketts

• A “One-Year Contract” for the following classified staff:
Katelyn Flanary, Kristin Keber

• A second “One-Year Contract” to the following classified staff:
Michelle Helberg, Anne Taylor, Amy Maassel

• A “Two-Year Contract” to the following classified staff:
Alysia Fickel, Marissa Ferry

• A “Three-Year Contract” to the following classified staff:
Gary Hendricks, Elizabeth Behnfeldt, Jenalee Niese

• A “Continuing Contract” to the following classified staff:
Tricia Frysinger

• Summer Work Experience as presented.

• Instructors for Summer camp as presented.

• Extended days as presented.

• Network Privacy and Acceptable Use Policy for Staff Members.

• The Senior Carpentry House Project for the 2017-18 School Year.

• Course of Study for Career Based Intervention, Auto Collision Repair and Veterinary Assisting.

• A resolution acknowledging the Enterprise Zone Agreement between the Henry County Commissioners and Ventures in Space.

• Donations from:
* Ms. Courtney Bowers: A book donation for the 2017-18 Page Bender Club
* West Unity Police Department: A Police Cruiser to the Law Enforcement Program
* Mrs. Michele Nafziger: A new 5-foot tub and shower unit to the HVAC Program
* Denise Drenning: A monetary donation to the Baumgartner/Bandy Scholarship

Under Board Committee Reports, the Board received updates from:
• Directors of Career Tech Ed, Adult Ed and Operations
• Legislative Liaison

Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the regular May Board Meeting at 6:30 p.m., on May 18, 2017 in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center.
