The Fulton County Commissioners met for regular sessions on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, and again on Thursday, March 5, 2026, with both meetings covering a mix of routine fiscal actions, appropriations, infrastructure matters, and administrative business.
In each session, commissioners opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and prayer before moving to approve prior meeting minutes and the agenda. During the March 3 meeting, commissioners also approved payment of bills as submitted.
Commissioners approved a $31,000 increase for Information Technology professional services tied to a VMware software subscription, an $11,380 increase for Clerk of Courts computer support to address new legal mandates related to Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI) convictions and necessary case management software updates, and a $2,895 Board of Elections grant refund reimbursement to the state for unused security grant funds.
The board also authorized the board president to issue a request for proposals for Program Year 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) assistance, then approved purchase orders and travel requests.
The board reviewed the amended official certificate of estimated resources, which showed total estimated county resources of $144,717,388.51, including $46,249,754.53 in the general fund and $64,447,824.64 in special revenue funds.
Commissioners also reviewed a certificate of non-compliance from the county auditor showing several funds with appropriations exceeding the last amended official estimate of resources, including Fund 2224 by $1,575, Fund 2305 by $26,741, Fund 2510 by $477, Fund 4170 by $10,643, and Fund 6001 by $27,427. The commissioners also reviewed the month-end financial report.

Additional appropriation and fund transfers were also approved. Those actions included moving $4,050 from the Juvenile Court office equipment to the Juvenile Court computer maintenance, along with a $32,035 transfer from the county portion of regional planning to assessments for regional planning.
During the March 5 session, commissioners provided support for a Fulton County Health Center funding request through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Community Project Program for equipment, including a CT scanner, CT contrast injector, and radiology and fluoroscopy room enhancements.
The commissioners’ letter describes Fulton County Health Center as a vital healthcare anchor for Fulton County and the surrounding region, says the community relies on it for high-quality and accessible care close to home, and argues the equipment would strengthen diagnostic capabilities, support timely and accurate patient care, and help the facility meet growing healthcare needs.
The letter also says the project would improve access to advanced medical technology and help maintain the standard of care expected by residents.
Commissioners entered into Contract 2026-26 with U.S. Bridge (formally The Ohio Bridge Corporation) for the Bridge G24.6 rehabilitation project in the amount of $685,329.78.

The contract documents state the work is to be completed and equipment removed by October 16, 2026. The board also awarded the bid for the Bridge 24A.9 rehabilitation project to RG Zachrich Construction Inc. for $239,097.69, following the Fulton County Engineer’s recommendation.
That bid came in below the engineer’s estimate of $320,000. Commissioners then approved purchase orders and travel requests before adjourning.
The next regular meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 9 a.m.
