Fulton County to advertise for bids for annual contractual services for the Solid Waste Facility for disposal of waste and recycling ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal.

Sealed bids for providing containers and the disposal of waste will be received until 10 a.m. Oct. 27. Bids will be opened at 10:05 a.m.

Commissioners approved the close out report for the Runway Project at the Fulton County Airport in Wauseon. The project was to install runway end identifier lights for Runway 27.

The project cost $104,210 with the federal government picking up 90 percent of the tab.

The Center for Child and Family Advocacy of Napoleon will receive funds from marriage licenses and dissolutions in 2017 to help fund The House of Ruth Domestic Shelter.

The shelter has an annual budget of $253,000. It has been receiving funds from the county for 2016.

The shelter serves victims of domestic violence in Fulton County. The shelter has served 40 women and about 30 children per year. The number of nights provided was nearly 2,000 in 2015 and is projected to be 1,800 for 2016 and 2017 each.

Commissioners appointed Tim Fitzpatrick to serve a 3-year term on the Fulton County Airport Authority Board expiring Oct. 31, 2019.

Fitzpatrick has significant time as a pilot and is a tenant at the airport.

Commissioners approved a request by the Village of Delta for a sole source procurement of equipment needed for its CDBG FY 2015 Water Meters Project.

The village will be able to purchase the equipment (inside meters and supporting materials) from Neptune Equipment Co., for $62,700.

Dog Warden report: Sept. 11-17
