Fulton County Habitat For Humanity Currently Accepting Applications

August 14, 2015Updated:November 30, 2016No Comments2 Mins Read

Habitat for Humanity of Fulton County, Ohio is currently accepting applications for NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION and EXISTING HOME REPAIR partner families, through September 30, 2015. Please pass this information along to anyone you feel could benefit, or knows someone who may wish to apply. Thank you.

To become a Habitat partner family, the project must be in Fulton County (or you must be willing to move to Fulton County). Three criteria must be met: you must have a NEED for the home or the repair must be critical to life and living improvement. You must be WILLING TO PARTNER with Habitat, completing educational and sweat equity requirements. You must BE ABLE TO MAKE MONTHLY PAYMENTS on the loan Habitat will provide to you at 0% interest for the project completed. Payments are kept low because there is no interest charged.

Sometimes the bravest thing to do is to ask for the help you need. Habitat gives a Hand UP, not a Hand Out to people willing to work for what they need. Contact our office today for an application. 419-335-7000 or director@habitatfco.org THIS ROUND WILL ONLY BE OPEN FOR A SHORT TIME! Once it is closed, applications will not be accepted until the next time Habitat is in search of new partner families. Contact us today. We reserve the right to close the Application process early if maximum applicants allowed are chosen.

ABOUT THE HABITAT MISSION: Habitat in Fulton County funds our projects through donations, sponsorships, volunteers and grants from The United Way of Fulton County. We have been blessed with CHIP funding and The Honor Project funds which we applied for. We are not a government or federally funded program. Partner Families pay back the cost of their projects at a 0% interest loan; those payments are rolled into the Fund for Humanity and used for future projects and to fund our mission locally. Habitat is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. If you would like to learn more or get involved in any way, please contact our office.
