Garrett Robert Crowell, age 18, of Lyons, OH, passed away October 18, 2018, from injuries sustained from an auto accident.
He was born June 28, 2000, in Adrian, MI, the son of Robert & Deborah (Wellman) Crowell. Garrett graduated from Evergreen High School in June of 2018. He attended Four County Career Center where he completed the Diesel Mechanics Program.
After graduation he started his career at Gerken Materials in Napoleon, OH. Garrett loved his job, his tools and fixing things with his hands. He enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend Brooklynn. Garrett was the kind of person that would be there for anyone and always willing to lend a hand.
He is survived by his parents, Robert & Deborah Crowell, two brothers, Bryan & Brandon Crowell, his grandparents, Benny & Gloria Wellman and Doris Crowell and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jessica Crowell, his grandfather, Charles “Charlie” Crowell, and uncle, Benny Wellman.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 22, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Lyons Cemetery, Lyons, OH.
