Gladys was a devoted member of the Fayette Firebelles and formerly attended the Fayette Christian Church-Disciples. She is remembered for her love and skill of gardening, be it tending to her sweet corn or her flowerbeds, and she also enjoyed playing shuffleboard during trips to Florida.

Surviving Gladys are two sons, Jerry (Kay) Bailey of Waldron, MI, and Allen Bailey (and Debbie Wilenius) of Hudson, MI; a brother, Lloyd Siegel of West Unity; sister, Doris Snow of Bryan, OH; daughter-in-law, Janice (Doug) Siegel of West Unity; eight grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, George, she was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Gary Bailey; and two siblings, Harold and Betty.

A funeral service for Gladys Bailey will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette with Rev. Gene Sugg officiating.
