Gladys (Tootie, Grandma G) Evelyn Morton passed away March 16, 2020 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family in the privacy of her home.
Gladys was born 12/16/1943 to Adelbert and Anna Rose Schnitkey who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Kevin (Claire) Morton and her daughter, Teresa (Chad) Kern of Archbold. She was especially proud of her grandsons, Garrett (Courtney) and Gavin Morton and her granddaughters, Kalyn and Brielle Baker. Her great grandsons, Gannon and Bennett brought a smile to her face.
Her grandchildren were her motivation to keep fighting.
Gladys is also survived by her sisters, Phyllis Jackson of Everett, Washington and Carol Grime of Archbold.
Gladys will forever be known for her selflessness and will be greatly missed by those who knew her and loved her.
A private family time and burial will be held in the Archbold Cemetery. Short Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with the arrangements.
