HONORS … Green Cap Junior Graduate Regent Roberta Harrington, center, was honored during a special meeting Sunday, April 7th at 2 p.m. by Montpelier Chapter 270, Women of the Moose. Subscriptions cover our costs to attend local events; bringing forth Hometown News Coverage to our communities.”] Roberta qualified for the Green Cap honor by serving the chapter successfully as senior regent during the 2011-12 chapter year and was invested with the Green Cap during Convocation ceremonies at the Annual Conference of the Women of the Moose last August. Her Ways & Means Committee held a project and donated proceeds toward the WOTM scholarship & maintenance fund and Moosehaven pier renewal project. Roberta has been a member of the chapter since 1987 and last February also received her Academy of Friendship degree at Mid Year Conference in Independence. She previously served the chapter as Educational Advancement Chairman and held the offices of Senior Regent and Jr. Graduate Regent during two successive chapter years in 2009-2011, and is a qualified Past Regent. The chapter earned the Award of Achievement during her second term as Senior Regent. The chapter congratulates Roberta for her achievements. The next regular chapter meeting will be Thursday, April 18th at 7 p.m. Installation of officers and chairmen is planned Monday, April 29th at 6 p.m. followed by dinner in the social quarters. New officers and chairmen begin their terms on May 1st.[/emember_protected]
