Archbold 4 Bryan 0

BRYAN – Archbold outshot Bryan 12-1 and Krayton Kern had two goals in a 4-0 win at Bryan.

With the win, the Bluestreaks wrapped-up an outright NWOAL title at 5-1 for 15 points (three points for a win, one point for a tie).

Delta was second with 14 points (4-0-2) and Evergreen had 13 points (4-1-1) to place third.

PETTISVILLE – Rhenn Armey had four goals and added two assists as Continental cruised past Pettisville 5-0.

The Pirates fired 11 shots and had eight corner kicks while holding Pettisville to just one shot.

SWANTON – Isaiah Bolyard scored the equalizer with 17:47 left in the match to give the Bulldogs a 3-3 with Liberty Center to end the NWOAL season.

Arnau Gonzalez and Hayden Callicotte accounted for the other Swanton goals.

METAMORA – Archbold secured their third straight league title with a 25-21, 25-13, 15-25, 25-5 win at Evergreen.

The Bluestreaks, who finish the year 19-3 overall, were led by Keely Culler with 16 kills and 13 assists while Chaney Brodbeck had 14 kills, 17 assists, and nine digs.

Evergreen was topped by 16 assists from Ellie Johnson and Lyla Nash had 10 kills on 18/26 hitting.

SWANTON – Sofie Taylor handed out 33 assists and Maddie Smith registered eight kills to lead Swanton to a Senior Night win over Bryan.

Paige Kunsman and Blayze Langenderfer each had eight kills for the Golden Bears.

DELTA – Jazmine Barajas totaled 22 digs to give her 569 on the season, a new school record for digs in a season, as the Indians ended NWOAL play with a straight set victory at Delta.

Hayley Meyer had 16 kills and was 18/18 serving with five aces for Wauseon.

EDON – Holgate needed just three sets to get the road win over the Bombers 25-18, 25-12, 25-15.

Emma Hickman led the Bombers in assists with 12 and Natalie Wofford had eight digs in the loss.

FAYETTE – The Locos outlasted Fayette 26-24 in the opening set on their way to a win at the Eagles Nest in three sets.

Kelsie Bumb led the Montpelier stats with 20 assists and 14 digs and Lyla Mahan added 11 digs.

Hannah Towns-Hall went 25/28 hitting for Fayette and tallied 18 digs with Kelsie Storrs dishing out 13 assists.

PIONEER – Emma Fulk went 21/21 hitting and added 10 digs to help Stryker past North Central. Sage Woolace chipped in with 19 digs for the Panthers.

Macie Gendron had 17 assists for the Eagles and Isabelle Burnett recorded nine digs.

PETTISVILLE – Hilltop locked up at least a share of a second consecutive BBC title with a four-set win at Pettisville in a battle of unbeatens in the BBC.

Joscelyn Layman tallied 39 assists to front the Hilltop attack while Gabby Rodriguez added 20 kills and Jayma Bailey was 28/29 serving with six aces.

Paris Coopshaw’s 23 digs topped the Blackbirds with Leah Beck and Alli King each adding 13 assists.
