Jonathan P. Davis, age 24, of Delta and rural Liberty Center, passed away suddenly, Friday afternoon June 24, 2016. He was born in Okinawa, Japan on January 27, 1992 to Jeffrey A. David and Suzanne (Davidson) Davis.
Jonathan was a 2010 graduate of Liberty Center High School. Jonathan most recently was employed at the Cookie Factory in McComb, Ohio. Some of his fondest hobbies included being a Star Wars enthusiast, playing board games, video games, studying Roman and Greek Mythology and enjoying his episodes of Dr. Who and the Harry Potter Series of movies.
Jonathan is survived by his parents, Pastor Jeff and Sue Davis; sister, Havilah (Justin) Davis Gay; brothers, Josiah (Rebecca) Davis and Asa J. Davis; nieces, Haley, Alivia, Jaydin and Alexa; nephews, Joshua, Joel and Alijah; who were referred to as “Uncle Jonny’s Fan Club”.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joel T. Davis on July 2, 2005.
Friends will be received from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Shiloh Christian Union Church, 2100 Co Rd 5 in Delta. Following the time of visitation with the family, a funeral service honoring Jonathan’s life will be held on Thursday at 6:00 PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta.
