Keith E. Allion (1935-2013)

allion_keith (2)Keith E. Allion, 77, of Alvordton, OH, died early Saturday morning, October 5, 2013, at the Toledo Hospital. He was born November 21, 1935, in Wauseon, OH, to the late Wilbur and Vida (Mason) Allion. He married Joan M. Weber on August 30, 1973, in Kunkle, OH , and she survives.

Keith graduated from Gorham Fayette High School, and attended the University of Toledo, where he studied architecture. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Keith retired from Dayton-Walther in Fayette following over 30 years of employment.

Keith had a great passion for horse racing, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He is also remembered for his great love of his family, and his special attention to his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Joan, are his daughter, Cindy (Mike) Raabe of Pioneer, OH; a brother, Wilbur “Bud” Allion of Mint Hill, NC; sister, Una Bea Allion of Fayette; two grandchildren, Tara Mansur and Shawn Ferguson; four great-grandchildren, Destiny, Brodie, Jarred, and Aza; and his nieces and nephews, Michael, Erica, Nicolas, and Jessica.

The family of Keith Allion will receive friends for a visitation on Monday, October 7, 2013, from 4-6 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette. Military Rites conducted by the Fulton County Honor Guard will immediately follow visitation at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Keith can be made to Hospice of NWO, or to the family.
