Linda L. Grubb, 62, of Montpelier passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Genesis Healthcare Bryan Center in Bryan. She was born on December 20, 1954 in Providence, Rhode Island to Joe and Waneta M. (Spencer) Wisman. Linda graduated from Montpelier High School in 1973. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and daughter. Linda enjoyed shopping with her family.

She is survived by her parents Waneta and Joe Wisman of Montpelier; children Bill (Allison) Grubb of Chicago, Illinois, and Lindsey (Adam) Martin Paducah, Kentucky; two grandchildren; one brother Mike L. Corcoran of Montpelier; four sisters, Julie (Jim) McGinty of Montpelier, Susan F. Kruse of Bryan, Mary (Mark) Psurny Stryker, and Lori (Brad) Westfall of Pioneer; and family dog Maizie.

Visitation for Linda will be on Tuesday, January 10th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Thompson-Geesey Funeral Home on Empire Street in Montpelier. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Richard Blank to officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help defray funeral costs. Condolences can be left at www.thethompsonfuneralhome.com
