The world lost a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Linda Arlene McGowen (Tate), age 73, when she passed away on April 2, 2023.

She is survived by her three children, who made up the entirety of her world, Melissa Hampton (Green) of Alexandria, Virginia, Michael Lee Green of LaGrange, Kentucky, and Juanita McGowen of Cleveland, Ohio and her three grandchildren, who made her smile every day, Tate, Rayna, and Sadie.

Linda graduated from Jacksonville, Arkansas High School in 1967. She enjoyed playing piano at the Church of Christ in Montpelier, Ohio. She retired from Aprimo in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2020.

Public visitation will be hosted at Simplicity Indianapolis, 7520 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227 on Monday, April 17th from 11am to 1 pm. Burial services will be held at a later date in Miltonvale, Kansas where she will be laid to rest by her parents and maternal grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Lupus Foundation of America.
