Meet local author Linda Ridley on Tuesday, June 23rd from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the Stryker Branch Library. Linda will be promoting her historical novel, The Journey of Lucinda Jane: A Rescued Doll Story. This touching tale follows a beautiful hand-finished doll who cannot wait to find a little girl to love as she embarks on a 140-year journey from beloved plaything, to damaged toy, to her exciting rescue.
The Journey of Lucinda Jane is a historical reimagining of a how a little girl’s favorite toy was lost and found again. Parents and children alike will enjoy this poignant yet uplifting story.
