Local author Bobbi Schlosser has written and illustrated the book, Pilgrim and will be holding a book reading at the West Unity Library on Tuesday, November 5th at 6:00 pm. The book accounts the true Thanksgiving rescue of Mrs. Schlosser’s cat Pilgrim, who will also be visiting the library.
According to the author’s biography, “Bobbi is a training specialist at a facility for the disabled and operates the Art Department there. She is an accomplished artist and has won numerous awards and is the past president of the Black Swamp Art Guild. She has seven grandchildren, and she and her husband, Dave, along with Pilgrim and Lucy, live in a cottage by the creek that you see in the book. She hopes that her message of caring extends to all that read Pilgrim.”
