(1973 Swanton High School Graduate)

Lynne Annette Dollison, age 69, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home Monday evening, September 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 25, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio.

Lynne was the cherished daughter of Warren S. and Maxine R. (King) Burgin. She graduated from Swanton High School in 1973, marking the beginning of a vibrant life characterized by dedication and affection.

On April 14, 1973, she married Thomas Michail Dollison, the love of her life. Together, they shared countless adventures, enjoying travels both near and far, whether it was by car, on Mike’s Harley, or as they traversed the country together while he worked as an over-the-road truck driver. Their bond was a testament to partnership, filled with shared experiences and mutual support.

Lynne devoted 32 years of her professional life to serving the students and community as a bus driver, custodian, and ultimately as a security officer for Toledo Public Schools.

All the kids at TPS called her Ms. Lynne. Her commitment to her work showcased her caring nature and her desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Lynne leaves behind a loving family, including her beloved husband of 51 years, Mike; children, Nikki Almendinger, Todd Dollison (Jacqueline Roman), and Andrew Dollison. She is also survived by her brother, Ron Burgin; her sister, Sue Dollison; and her beloved grandchildren, Zach Sabo (Heaven), Nickole Miller, Tyler Dollison, Noah Dollison, Lexie Almendinger, Maddie Poling, Oliver Dollison, and Barron Dollison. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Archie Sabo and Jaxson Dollison, who will grow to know about the warmth and love their grandmother embodied.

Besides her parents, Lynne was predeceased by her brother, Don Burgin, and her granddaughter, Delaney Dollison.

Services will be private for the family. Arrangements by Weigel Funeral Home (419.826.2631).
