Mrs. Marie Thompson, age 81, of Bryan, OH, and formerly of Rockmart, GA, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, in Bryan, Ohio.
Mrs. Thompson was born on March 2, 1943, daughter of the late Andrew Taylor and Jessie Shepherd Taylor.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Thompson, a son, William Thompson, sisters, Frances Stevens, Jean Bollenbacher, and Deb Goins, and brothers, Larry Taylor, and Mike Taylor.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by four sons, Troy Thompson, Andy Thompson, Tracey Thompson, and Ken Thompson; two brothers, Bob Taylor and Pat Taylor. Twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Thompson will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Northview Cemetery in Cedartown with Father Daniel Danel officiating. Pallbearers will include Troy Thompson, Andy Thompson, Ken Thompson, Josh Thompson, Britton Thompson, and Jacob Thompson.
Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Marie Thompson. Local arrangements were entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, Bryan, Ohio.
