Mary Ann Jones, age 91, of Bryan, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at her home. Mary Ann retired from the Ohio Art Company with over 35 years of service as an Etch-a-Sketch assembler.
She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and the Bryan VFW Auxiliary. Mary was an excellent baker and above all adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary Ann was born on July 21, 1932 in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of John Norman and Ila (Musser) Beamer.
She married Charles M. Jones in Bryan, Ohio on June 10, 1950 and he preceded her in death on October 30, 2003.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Bernard) Wagner, of Bryan, Ohio, Vicki (Dan) Scribner of Easley, South Carolina and Ilah Conley of Taylor Mill, Kentucky; her son, Daniel C. (Carol) Jones of Bryan, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and a sister, Kay Beamer of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Sue Schooley and Barbara Alt and step-brother, Gerald Beamer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with services immediately following at 1:00 P.M. with Mary’s grandson, Christopher Conley officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery, Bryan, Ohio.
The family requests memorial donations be directed to the Asbury United Methodist Church, Shriner’s Children’s Hospital or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
