WEST UNITY: June 5 – Kennedy Caudill was able to hold West Unity 3 scoreless over the last two innings to lead the Montpelier Civic girls to a 10-8 white knuckle win in 12U softball play on June 5.
Caudill went the distance for Montpelier, helping her own cause with a single.
Sonja Alivira had a double for Montpelier, while Maya Taylor had a pair of base hits. Halie Rose, Paige Garcia and Emma Clair each rapped a single.
