(October 2nd, 2014)-MONTPELIER: Inviting neighboring Bryan to their court, the junior varsity girls of Montpelier readied themselves for NWOAL competition. The Lady Locos weren’t able to secure a victory, however, as they fell to the Golden Bears in straight sets.
Falling behind early, the Locomotives were defeated in first game, 6-25. The girls of Montpelier regrouped from the game 1 defeat, building momentum in game 2. It wasn’t enough, however, as the Locos dropped the set 18-25, losing the match.
