MONTPELIER – Senior Night in The Railyard saw the Lady Locomotives of Montpelier welcoming in Liberty Center for a February 7 NWOAL tilt. It took the hometown girls a quarter to find their bearings, but once they did, it was the end of the line for the Lady Tigers. Montpelier outgunned Liberty Center 47-34 the rest of the way out to send the hometown faithful home smiling after a 53-42 win.
Lauren Dye led all scorers with 15 points for Montpelier, while Hannah Blake added 14. Aleah Maas and Baylee Hageman had 10 points apiece, and Hayley Geren and Christina Prather each had 2 points.
