Michael Richard Neuenschwander, age 35, of Fayette, passed away suddenly near Fayette on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Michael was a 1998 graduate of Wauseon High School. Michael was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. He was an owner and operator of Heritage Construction for many years and most recently worked for Energy Group, performing tree maintenance and trimming around power lines. He was also a member of IBEW Union Local 17 in Detroit, Michigan.
He greatly enjoyed deer hunting, watersports, and especially spending time with his children, family and friends. He will always be remembered as a true family man and a great father.
Michael was born in Wauseon on February 19, 1980 to Sue (Patrick) Irving and Rick (Kris) Neuenschwander. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three children, Mitchell, Samantha and Mason; five siblings, Robert Neuenschwander, Tylor (Jennifer) Neuenschwander, Joshua (Estela) Snipes, Nicholas (Candace) Irving & Jessica (Jason Pace) Irving; fiancé Paige Guess; grandparents, Lowell and Velma Neuenschwander, Ruth Reinhart, Ruth Knierim & Phyllis Irving and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Reinhart, William Knierim, & Charles Irving, Sr.
Friends may visit from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta. A funeral service celebrating Mike’s life will be held on at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Shiloh Christian Union Church, 2100 Co Rd 5, Delta, Ohio 43515. Pastors Tom Ordway and Jeff Davis will be officiating. Private interment will precede the service at Shiloh Cemetery with military rites being provided by the Fulton County Honor Guard.
