Want to know more about the harvest days of a time long past? We have the afternoon set aside for you to reminisce about the days of harvesting the old fashioned way. We have Mr. Richard Schniepp visiting the German Lutheran Heritage Museum to tell us all about it and give the listeners in the audience a chance to tell of their experiences of those harvest days. Mr. Schniepp has a keen interest in the threshing rigs and steam engines used in the early part of the 20th century.
The program will be held at the German Lutheran Heritage site in The Lutheran Social Services building on Sunday October 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm. LSS is located across from the Four County Career Center on Ohio #66, south of Archbold. Coffee cake and drinks will be served. You do not need to be a member of German Lutheran Heritage to attend. This meeting is free and open to the public. Guests are always welcome. Visit us on our Facebook page: German Lutheran Heritage of Northwest Ohio.
