One person’s trash was officially the entire community’s treasure this past weekend as Edgerton held its annual village-wide garage sale.
Though the community-wide event officially ran from Thursday, June 4, through Saturday, June 6, several eager sellers opened their driveways early on Wednesday.
Coordinated by MainStreet Edgerton, this year’s map featured over 30 local sellers. Bargain hunters accessed digital maps online or picked up physical copies at The Hicksville Bank Edgerton branch, Edgerton Main Stop and Town Hall.
Packed with everything from household essentials to unexpected collectibles, the multifamily event successfully drew local residents and out-of-towners looking for the ultimate weekend deals.
Whether hosts cleared out their crowded garages, made some extra cash or simply enjoyed chatting with passing neighbors, the weekend proved that Edgerton’s community spirit is as strong as ever.
For those who missed out on the bargains, planning is already underway for next year’s town-wide hunt.
