Patty Ann Penrod, age 64 of Wauseon, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, October 12, 2017.
Pat was born in Toledo on March 24, 1953 to the late Howard Penrod and Margaret (Stiriz) Penrod who survives. Pat was a 1971 graduate of Wauseon High School and later attended Owens College where she received her Associates Degree. Before retiring earlier this year, she served as cafeteria manager at Evergreen High School for 14 years; along with being a floral designer for over 30 years, caterer for weddings and special events and worked at TLC Child Center.
Pat was an avid sports fan, enjoying NBA basketball, Cleveland Indians and her OSU Buckeyes. In addition to her work and hobbies, she was very active with Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon where she served as a past church council president, church secretary, most recently as worship chair and participating in senior choir and the bell choir in addition to being a committee member of the Wauseon Downtown Association.
Pat will be missed by her mother, Margaret; children, Nicholas (Barbara) Kennedy, Michael P. Kennedy and Kristina M. Kennedy and faithful canine companion, “Kobe”.
Along with her father, Howard, she was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Penrod.
