Pettisville Blackbirds Edged By The Edon Bombers In Eight Innings, 4-3

PETTISVILLE – Tate Kauffman threw a great game against the Edon Bombers on May 13, but Landon Bloir kept his team in the game long enough to escape the Pettisville Blackbirds by a 4-3 score in eight innings on May 13.[emember_protected custom_msg=”Full content protected for online subscribers. Bloir allowed 2 runs on 5 hits and 4 walks, fanning 10 in 5 2/3 innings. River Wicker lost the save but got the win, allowing a run in 1 1/3 inning of relief. Connor Hug had a double and Kaden Sapp a triple to key the Bombers.

Kauffman went 7 2/3 innings and was charged with 4 runs, 2 earned on 7 hits and 3 walks, striking out 7. Noah Miller got the final out. Kauffman and Alex Roth each had a double for Pettisville, while Cam Norris, Jacob Roth, Eli King, Jacob Deffely and Tanner Rufenacht each had a single.
