On September 13, 2015, at 0949 hrs., Melissa M. Turner called to report a theft at 13469 SR-15, Holiday City. On September 12 between 1700 hrs and 2200 hrs, someone took prescription medication from her purse and vehicle. The loss was estimated at $50.00 and the complaint remains under investigation.
On September 14, 2015, at 0053 hrs., Cynthia J. Hendricks of Alvordton, OH, called to report that sometime prior to 0030 hrs., someone took her license plate from her 2003 GMC Yukon. The loss was estimated at $60.00 and the complaint remains under investigation.
On September 14, 2015 at 0810 hrs., A Schrader Tire employee called to report forced entry into the business at 153 Midtoll Blvd. Edon, OH. Sometime over the weekend, someone broke into the business. The total loss was undetermined and the complaint remains under investigation.
On September 14, 2015, Birdine Cole, Sr., age 50, LKA Montpelier, OH, was arrested on 2 secret indictments from Williams County Common Pleas Court. Cole is a registered sex offender that absconded. His initial indictment in July is for Failure to Notify Change of Address, an F3. He was later indicted in August for Illegal Manufacture of Drugs, F2, and Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5. Cole was arrested in Hillsdale County by the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office, where he later waived extradition and was brought to CCNO.
On September 15, 2015, Jeffrey A. Lusk, age 51, LKA Edgerton, OH, was arrested on a felony indictment for Non Support of Dependents, F4 and a bench warrant for Absconding from Supervision. He was taken to CCNO.
On September 16, 2015, Robert Baker, age 38, of Bryan OH, was arrested on a Williams County COmmon Pleas Warrant for Trafficking in Drugs. He was taken to CCNO.
On September 17, 2015, Andrew Kendall, age 35, of Bryan, OH, was arrested on a warrant out of Bryan Municipal Court for Assault. Kendall was taken to court where he was released.
On September 19, 2015, Danielle J. Boyd, age 25, of Hillsdale, MI, was operating a 2008 Jeep Liberty traveling east on CR-0, when she swerved to avoid a deer that had ran onto the roadway. She then traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck the ditch. The vehicle was functional and the matter remains under investigation.
On September 19, 2015, Joseph A. Wade, age 45, of Bryan, OH, was arrested on a Misdemeanor warrant out of the Village of Montpelier.
On September 20, 2015, Nolan C. Krull, age 21, of Angola, IN, was arrested on a Felony warrant out of Williams County Common Pleas Court.

FULTON COUNTY COMMON PLEAS
A Wauseon, Ohio woman was sentenced on September 14, 2015, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court. Caroline Krasula, 41, pled no contest and was found guilty of Aggravated Vehicular Assault. According to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott Haselman, on or about March 31, 2015, Ms. Krasula caused serious physical harm to another person while operating a motor vehicle. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Ms. Krasula to serve a mandatory term of 12 months in prison. The Court ordered that Ms. Krasula pay any fees, all prosecution costs and court appointed counsel fees, and make restitution payable through the Fulton County Clerk of Courts. The Court suspended her driver’s license for two years, with limited driving privileges.
A South Bend, Indiana man was sentenced on September 15, 2015 in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman. Taraious Ford, 41, previously pled guilty to Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity. On or about May 5, 2015, he participated in a pattern of corrupt activity. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Mr. Ford to 5 years of community control and ordered him to pay prosecution costs, including counsel fees, seek and maintain employment, pay restitution of $7,606.05 to the victim, not to enter any Walmart stores, and serve 134 days in CCNO, with credit for time served. Failure to comply could result in Mr. Ford spending 3 years in prison.
An Archbold, Ohio man was sentenced on September 17, 2015, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court. LeRoy Acevedo, 45, previously pled guilty to Violating a Protection Order. According to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott Haselman, on or about April 5, 2015, Mr. Acevedo recklessly violated a protection order. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Mr. Acevedo to serve 8 months in prison. The Court ordered that Mr. Acevedo pay any fees, all prosecution costs, and court appointed counsel fees.
FULTON COUNTY SHERIFF
Sheriff Roy E. Miller announces that the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office conducted a High Visibility Traffic Blitz on August 21st through September 7th. This blitz was in conjunction with the national, “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign. Deputies who worked this Blitz made 88 traffic stops and issued 20 citations. The citations issued were for speed (17), operating under the influence of alcohol, resisting arrest, and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies also issued 74 warnings during the Blitz. The High Visibility Traffic Blitzes are paid from a grant that the Sheriff’s Office received from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
Sheriff Miller and his deputies are dedicated to protecting the citizens of Fulton County and the motorists who travel its highways. This grant allows extra patrol to enforce traffic laws that will increase the safety of motorists on the roadway in areas that are prone to a higher number of serious and fatal crashes.
