Rainbow of Wellness, the annual health care conference for mature adults and caregivers, will be held on Thursday, October 12th, from 8:45am-1pm at the Veterans Memorial Building on the Williams County Fairgrounds in Montpelier.

The event is sponsored by the Williams County Older Adults Task Force. Registration, brunch, and booth visitation will be held from 8:45-9:30 am.

Mark Pitman will serve as master of ceremonies.  Guest speakers include Williams County Judge, Karen Gallagher, speaking on estate planning, and Sarah Carothers of the Williams County Department of Aging will be discussing Medicaid.

Dinner music will be by John Reichle with afternoon entertainment by musical duo Something to Talk About. Door prizes will be given away. Suggested lunch donation is $3 for those age 60 and over and $5 for age 59 and under.

Beginning at 1pm and continuing until 3pm, Williams County Safe Communities will be offering the CarFit program.

Trained technicians go through a 12-point checklist as the driver sits in their vehicle, helping to ensure the car’s features fit the driver.

Education and resources will be offered. Senior drivers who are interested in registering for CarFit can call #419-485-3141 ext. 128.
