Randolph J. MacFarlane (1938-2013)

Randolph “Randy” J. MacFarlane, 74 of rural Stryker, Ohio went home to be with His Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 5th 2013 surrounded by his family.

Randy had been in declining health for several years. He was blessed to be under Hospice Care of Williams and Fulton County and with caregivers Sandy Fitzenrider, April McKinney and several other Hospice nurses and staff.

Born on December 13th 1938 in Wayne, Michigan, Randy was the son of the late Archie F. MacFarlane and Esther (Krause) MacFarlane Partee.

He was a 1957 graduate of Bryan High School. He was married to Martha (Lamb) MacFarlane and she survives.

Randy had farmed in rural Stryker for several years and was a self-employed wood worker, specializing in furniture, cabinets and finishing.

He was an active member at First Baptist Church in Bryan, Ohio where he had served in several positions and especially enjoyed being Chairman of the Ushers and greeting people at the door.

Randy is survived by his wife Martha, his son and Pastor, John (Vickie) MacFarlane and two cherished granddaughters Emily and Hannah, all of Stryker.


He was preceded in death by his parents, a stepfather Emerson Partee and several aunts and uncles.
