Red Rambler Coffee held a ribbon cutting for their second location on Friday. The new location is on the ground floor inside the South Medical Building at the Fulton County Health Center.
It first opened to customers on May 5th and provides an option for drinks and food inside the hospital and the south side of town.
Owners Brooke and Brent Shea explained that they were approached by the hospital who were interested in having a coffee shop in the building.
“The hospital approached us, and we thought it was a great idea. It allows us to provide a service to those that come here every day and for procedures. It also helps us to be able to serve the southern part of town,” said Brooke Shea.
Red Rambler on the north side of town originally opened in 2003 and has been owned by the Shea’s for the past two and a half years.
Both shops open at 6:30 a.m. Monday through Friday with the hospital location closing at 2:00 p.m. and the North Shoop location closing at 8:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday and at 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Both locations are locally owned and feature imported beans that are roasted in Wauseon. The hospital location will feature brewed coffees, hot, iced or blended lattes, mochas, espresso-based drinks, blended coffees, smoothies, teas, refreshers, and chai.
Food items such as muffins, scones, cookies, breakfast sandwiches and deli sandwiches are also available with some options being vegan and gluten free.
Both Brooke and Brent Shea would like to thank the community for the continued support they have received from Wauseon, the hospital and staff and the entire county area.
