GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER
Wauseon 4, Archbold 0
Jadelyn Vasvery scored a hat trick and the Indians improved to 5-4-1 and 2-1 in the NWOAL. Vasvery’s first of three goals came at the 19:59 mark of the first half on an assist from Avery Giguere. Wauseon carried the 1-0 lead into the half. The Indians expanded their lead to 2-0 on the foot of Vasvery ten minutes into the second half with another assist from Giguere. Her third and final goal came with 29:29 remaining. Amanda Hammontree added the fourth and final goal with 24:08 remaining in the game.
Bryan 3, Continental 1
Bryan’s (3-3-2, 2-1) goals came from juniors Allye Minor and Gracie Voigt. Minor and Voigt each tallied an assist as well. Lauren Robinson was superb in goal for the Bears.
BOYS VARSITY SOCCER
Woodmore 9, Delta 2
Woodmore took a quick 3-0 lead as the they held the Panthers scoreless in the first half of play. The second half saw Woodmore score two more goals to go up 5-0 seven minutes into the second half before Delta’s Anthony Russell found the net for the Panthers first goal with 27 minutes remaining in the game.Russell was assisted by Thomas Cupp. Woodmore responded with two goals of their own to expand the lead. Russell scored Delta’s second and final goal of the game.

GIRLS VARSITY CROSS COUNTRY
Five BBC teams took part in the conference’s Jamboree at the Archbold Reservoir. Pettisville (16), Hilltop (52), Fayette (78), Edon (94) and Stryker (104) were the teams competing. The Blackbird’s were represented in the top four spots. Winning the race was Alexa Leppelmeier (20:40), the second through fourth place finishers included: Elizabeth Sauder (2nd, 20:40), Nichole Foor (3rd, 21:11) and Kelly Miller (4th, 22:42). Other Pettisville finishers included: Kate Stuber (6th, 23:26), Sarah Foor (11th, 25:49), Sarah Herring (13th, 27:30), Katie Hauter (20th, 37:32). The Cadets were led by Landrey Brown’s fifth place finish as she covered the course in 22:50. Other Hilltop finishers included: Kara Brown (7th, 23:45), Syndi Rivera (10th, 25:36), Shanti Wyse (12th, 26:13), Emily Coleman (18th, 35:45), Veronica Nickols (19th, 35:56). Fayette’s Jillian Figgins finished ninth to pace the Eagle runners. Figgins ran the distance in 25:27. Other Fayette finishers included: Kati Niskanen (15th, 27:52), Zoee Keiser (16th, 28:45), Addison Bentley (17th, 29:36). Wendy Braun led Edon with an eighth place finish in 25:11. Joining Braun for the Bombers was Taylor Brown who ran 20th in 37:32. Stryker’s one finisher in the race was Paige Speelman who was 14th in 27:35.
BOYS VARSITY CROSS COUNTRY
Pettisville took the top spot in the five-team BBC Jamboree. The Blackbirds finished with 43 points followed by: Edon (55), Hilltop (69), Stryker (80) and Fayette (102). Cameron Reed of Edon won the racewith a time of 19:29. Other Bombers finishers included: Dru Walkowski (8th, 20:44), Hunter Hodap (14th, 21:49), Chad Howard (15th, 21:51), Jacob Long (17th, 21:58), Logan Bloir (18th, 22:02), Josh Landel (20th, 22:25), Josh Braun (26th, 23:01), Cameron Siebenaler (36th, 24:39), Aiden Muehfeld (39th, 25:01), Lincoln Brown (43rd, 26:24), Jordan Bohn (44th, 26:52), Clayton Fitch (46th, 27:46). The winning Blackbirds were paced by: Ben Gray (2nd, 19:39), Logan Rufenacht (3rd, 19:53), Caleb Nolander (10th, 21:18), Evan Warner (12th, 21:27), Jacob Myers (16th, 21:58). Hilltop’s third place finish was accomplished with the following finishes: Sam Hartman (5th, 20:07), David Carpenter (9th, 21:13), Baron Bleikamp (13th, 21:44), Luis Ayala-Aguilera (19th, 22:12), Blake Funkhouser (23rd, 22:43), Blue Repp (28th, 23:31), Ryan Brooker (33rd, 24:25). Stryker had two finishers in the top 10. Izayah Ferguson was 6th in 20:37 and Emanuel Villanueva was 7th in 20:38. The other Panthers runners included: Logan Boetz (21st, 22:31), Luke Holsopple (22nd, 22:32), Thomas Bost (24th, 22:49), Israel Aguilar (25th, 22:53), Daniel Fether (27th, 23:31), Dustin Teschke (47th, 28:23). Fayette was led by Clayton Pheils who ran 4th in 20:05. Pheils was followed by: Alex Jaramillo (11th, 21:19), Bryce Conklin (29th, 23:33), Caden Colegrove (30th, 23:33), Jacob Garrow (31st, 23:53), Austin Lopez (34th, 24:26), Trey Keefer (35th, 24:28), Jason Stuckey (37th, 24:41), Jake Myers (38th, 24:50), Christian Renner (40th, 25:55), Mason Maginn (42nd, 26:22), Porter Maginn (45th, 27:05), Grant Reinking (48th, 28:36), Gabe Maginn (49th, 31:06).
BOYS JUNIOR HIGH CROSS COUNTRY
Fayette took the top spot at the BBC Jamboree with 31 points. Elijah Lerma led the Eagles with a second place finish in 12:40. Other Fayette runners in the top ten included: Tyrese Pearson (4th, 13:40) and Eli Eberly (7th, 14:03). Phillip Whiteside ran 11th in 15:04. Other Fayette finishers included: Tyson Bailey (12th, 15:17), Jeremiah Venia (13th, 15:21), Troy Shoemaker (26th, 17:19), Drew Beauregard (30th, 20:06, Austin Fetterman (33rd, 21:02) and Andrew Stough (34th, 21:53). Edon finished second with 54 points. Finishing eighth and ninth for the Bombers were Jacob Casebere (14:20) and Gage Eicher (15:01). Also finishing for Edon were: Trey Whitney (15th, 15:47), Thad Howard (17th, 16:27), and Cory Brooks (18th, 16:34). Stryker ran in third place with 72 points. Kaleb Holsopple finished third for the Panthers in 13:01. Brandon Bowers was fifth in 13:42 and Amos Sloan finished 28th in 18:13. Pettisville was in fourth spot with 83 points. Max Leppelmeier won the race for the Blackbirds with a time of 11:39. Josh Basselman was the second Pettisville runner over the line in 25th in 17:15 followed by Dominic Heising in 32nd with a time of 20:20. Hilltop was fifth with 97 points. Ian Hoffman was the Cadets top finisher in 19th with a time of 16:41. Matthew Wyse was right behind his team mate in 20th with a time of 16:46. Rounding out the field was Justin Ayala-Aguilera running 38th with a time of 25:32.
GIRLS JUNIOR HIGH CROSS COUNTRY
Three teams competed in the BBC Jamboree. Fayette captured the win with 36 points followed by Pettisville with 42 points and Stryker with 44. Trinitie Woolace ran first for Stryker with a time of 13:46. Zarhea Carroll (4th, 16:11), Kaila Patterson (8th, 17:00) rounded out the Pathers participants. Pettisville’s Karsyn Hostetler was second in the race with a time of 14:31. Her team mate Ellie Wixom was fifth in 16:47 followed by Blackbird runners Madeline Shumaker (10th, 19:20), Anna Hudspeath (12th, 22:00) and Mayzie Clark (13th, 23:32). Champions Fayette got a third place finish from Chloe Merillat in 15:21. Amber Gaona (6th, 16:50), Emma Leininger (7th, 16:54), Miah Beauregard (9th, 17:30), Jocy Figgins ( 11th, 20:19) and Jada Reinking (14th, 25:27) were the other Eagles finishers.
VARSITY VOLLEYBALL
Hilltop defeated Fayette 27-25, 25-23, 19-25, 23-25, 15-8. The Cadets (3-8, 2-4) were led by Ariana Brown. Brown was 28/32 serving with one ace and was credited with 24 points. She also led with nine kills on 30/30 attacking. Aubrey Wyse followed with 14/15 serving including four aces and was credited with 11 points. She finished 26/30 attacking with four kills. Marisa Yates also played strong at the net finishing 11/14 attacking with seven kills. Her seven-kill effort was matched Zoey Abner who was 22/24 attacking.
Pettisville (8-2, 6-0) defeated North Central (6-4, 4-2) with scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-17 in a BBC battle. The Blackbirds were led by Kyra Behrfeldt with 8/9 serving including two aces, Teagan Kauffman 17/19 with five aces and 22/24 hitting with nine kills, Jesse Youse 14/14 serving with two aces and 14/20 hitting with 10 kills ad Carly Bontrager 83/84 setting with 31 assists. Alyssa Swank finished with 11 good serves for the Eagles. Makayla Knapp led with 16 assists while Sidney McKerns led at the net with five kills and three blocks.
Delta (5-5, 2-2) defeated Wauseon (6-6, 1-3) in a NWOAL match. The Panthers were led by Kinsey Finnen who finished with five aces, 15 kills and 12 digs. Abby Freeman added one ace, 15 assists and seven digs. Darian Elendt had two aces, four kills and two blocks. Destiny Hildreth had 20 assists and five digs. Emily Clifton served up one ace, six kills, one block and 13 digs. Mary Miller had three aces, 12 kills, five blocks, one assist and three digs and Tatiana Ruiz had three aces and seven digs.
Edon defeated Stryker scores were: 26-24, 25-13, 25-20. The overall record for the Bombers is 5-7 and they are 4-2 in the BBC.
The Montpelier Lady Locomotives got back on track with a victory over the Monclova Christian Thunder 25-19, 25-11, 25-16 making them 3-9 overall. Leading the Locos were: Landri McKelvey with 12 kills, 11 assists, and 3 aces, Morgan Eriksen with 8 kills, and Hanna Bumb with 5 aces and 11 assists.
JUNIOR VARSITY VOLLEYBALL
Hilltop downed Fayette in two sets with scores of 25-15 and 25-13. No other games stats were available.

Pettisville defeated North Central with scores of 25-17, 25-10. The Blackbirds were led by Mauricea Crouch 10/10 serving with seven digs, Mikayla Graber 9/10 serving with one ace, 25/25 setting with six assists, 9/9 hitting with two kills, Danielle King 9/10 serving with one ace, and Ryeana Klopfenstein 10/10 hitting with two kills.
Edon JV defeated Stryker scores were: 10-25, 25-21, 25-16. Their overall record is 8-3 and are 6-0 in BBC.
FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL
Pettisville won over North Central in three sets with scores of 24-26, 25-18, 26-24. No other game stats were available.
JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL
North Central defeated Pettisville 25-4, 25-9 in eighth grade action. The Eagles were 25-11 and 25-8 winners in the seventh grade match.
VARSITY GOLF
North Central defeated Hilltop 169-177 at Patriot Hills Golf Course to improve to 5-1 in the BBC and 32-18 overall. Brock Zuver earned medalist honors with 38. Others for the Eagles were David Pinc 38, Chace Boothman 43, Allyson Hutchison 49, Landon Patten 50, and Jack Bailey 52. Hilltop scores were Jay Garrett 41, Andrew Denton 45, Jestin Maddox 45, Skyler Butterfield 46, Steven Riley 53, and Zakk Horton 58.

Chase Hartman was the medalist for the Golden Bears as they won the non-league tri match. Following Hartman for Bryan included: Peyton Lamberson (410, Owen Beaver (42), Connor Shirkey (46), and a pair of 49s by Conner Lemons and Andrew Heller. The Indians were led by CJ Moser’s round of 44. Eric Parker (47), Trent Armstrong (48), Caleb Leu (49) and Logan Blackman (65) were the other Indians golfers competing.
Fayette 183, Edon 214
Tharyn Colegrove was the medalist with a round of 42 in Fayette’s BBC win over Edon. Noah Brinegar and Travis Wagner shot rounds of 46 while Tanner Lemley and Jaryd White had matching 49s for the Eagles. Edon was led by Evan Fisk’s round of 48. Brayden Bower (51), Tatum Schaffter (55), Nathan Myers (57), Austin Batt (60) and Melody Nofziger (61) were the other scorers for the Bombers.
Stryker 171, Pettisville 214
Hayden Clingaman led the Panthers to the BBC win playing the front nine at Ironwood in Wauseon. Clingaman won medalist honors with his round of 37. Abe Montigue fired a 43 while Aaron Sidle had a round of 48. Other Stryker scores included: Austin Frisbie (49), Kaid Woolace

(52) and Colin Anders (55). Pettisvile was led by a pair of 52s from Austin Horning and Drew Canada. Other Blackbird scores included: Graeme Jacoby (53), Isaac Noor (57), Dalton Myers (62) and Josh Graber (63).
North Central 169, Hilltop 177
Brock Zuver won medalist honors for North Central with a round of 38 to lead the Eagles to the BBC win at Patriot Hills. David Pinc was one stroke off the pace with a 39. Other North Central scores included: Chace Boothman (43), Allyson Hutchison (49), Landon Patten (50), Jack Bailey (52). Hilltop’s low score was a 41 turned in by Jay Garrett. Following Garrett were: Jestin Maddox (45), Andrew Denton (45), Skyler Butterfield (46), Steven Riley (53), and Zakk Horton (58).

Stryker won the non-conference tri-match. Leading Montpelier was Braden Saneholtz with a round of 49. Aaron Stoy and Tyler Rupp shot matching 51s while Roman Sommer finished with a 52 and Garrett Witte and Brock O’Neal had a pair of 53.
JUNIOR HIGH GOLF
Montpelier 201, Archbold 206
The young Locomotives disposed of the Blue Streaks in a match played at Riverside Greens. Montpelier, with an impressive 18-1 record this season were led by medalist Tylor Vahraus with a round of 46. Other Locomotive scorers included: Ethan Marihugh (49), Collin Crisenbery (53),
Hunter Burlew (53), Jake Clinger (57), Brayden JoHantgen (61), Stephen Cluckey (70).
VARSITY TENNIS
Ottawa Glandorf 3, Archbold 2
The Titans swept singles play while the Bluestreaks returned the favor by taking both double matches. Caroline Kinsman was defeated 6-0, 6-0 in First Singles. Belle Clark fell in Second Singles with the same scores of 6-0, 6-0. Itzy Geona was downed 6-2, 6-3 in Third Singles. In the doubles matches Archbold’s Isabel Krieger and Darby Stevens were 6-3, 6-1 winners in First Doubles and in Second Doubles Morgan Parry and Amanda Payne won 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, 7-6 (10-8). The Streaks evened their record at 7-7 for the season.
Wauseon 4, Rossford 1

The Indians came away with an easy win over the Bulldogs. Sweeping the singles matches were Paige Moden (First Singles 6-0, 6-0), Sarah Becker (Second Singles 6-0, 6-2), Maddy Wendt (Third Singles 6-0, 6-0). The only loss suffered by the Indians were in First Doubles where Samantha Martin and Liv Ladd were defeated 6-3, 6-6 (7-4). The Second Doubles team of Kaitlyn Sager and Sierra Rupp won 6-3, 6-6 (7-5).
