CPC Women’s Health Resource recently marked a milestone as it held its 40th Annual Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Archbold Evangelical Church.
The event brought together supporters of the nonprofit organization for an evening centered on its mission of providing free care, education, counseling, and practical assistance for women and families throughout the region.
Dinner tickets for the evening were completely sold out, with guests enjoying a catered meal, live music, and stories of lives that were changed through the help and support provided by CPC Women’s Health Resource.
CPC Women’s Health Resource serves individuals in four counties and works to empower people to make life-affirming decisions through education, counseling, and compassionate care rooted in the ministry of Jesus Christ.
The organization states that it does not offer or refer for pregnancy terminations or birth control.
Services provided through the ministry include pregnancy testing, STD and STI testing, counseling, education classes, mentorship, and material assistance.
The organization describes itself as a nonprofit, faith-based, safe, and confidential place that supports women, men, and families facing a wide range of life events in a judgment-free environment.
All services are offered free of charge and regardless of age, race, religion, or ability to pay.
Executive Director Mark Pitman talked with me about how the foundation is blessed to continue serving the community and is thankful for the support it receives from both its people and the surrounding area.
He also expressed appreciation for those who help carry the work of the ministry forward, adding that the organization remains guided by the Lord’s kindness as it continues its efforts.
The evening also featured keynote speaker Mike Spencer, founder and president of Project LifeVoice, a gospel-driven human rights organization focused on equipping pro-life ambassadors to speak and act on behalf of the unborn.
Spencer grew up in Detroit and said he considered himself pro-choice until shortly after coming to faith in Christ in 1984, when he watched “The Silent Scream.” After that experience, he became deeply convicted and committed himself to becoming a voice for the unborn.

He later served as a pastor for 23 years and then spent eight years on the speaking staff for Life Training Institute. Today, he travels throughout the United States and beyond, speaking in churches, at banquets and conferences, and on high school and university campuses.
Organizers said he addresses thousands of students and adults each year and is known for approaching the issue with both grace and conviction.
Spencer and his wife, Barb, have five children, including a daughter adopted from Guatemala, and they currently reside in Newark, Ohio.
CPC Women’s Health Resource has now helped more than 6,000 people through its services and outreach, reflecting the lasting impact the organization continues to have on individuals and families across the area.
