Mondays, May 15, and 22 from 10:15 am to 11:45 am – Beginning Yoga. This class is slightly more advanced than Thursday morning’s yoga class, offering students an opportunity to expand their skill level. Class fee is $10.00 per session with multi-session tickets available. Please bring a yoga mat and towel and wear comfortable clothing. There is no class on May 29.
Tuesdays, May 16, 23, and 30 at 10:30 am – Storytime. Weekly classes offered at Swanton Library for children ages 6 months to 5 years. Children can experience nighttime through stories, music, and crafts. Free. No registration required.
Wednesdays, May 17, 24, and 31 at 4:30 pm – Storytime. Weekly classes offered at Swanton Library for children ages 1 to 5 years. Children can experience nighttime through stories, music, and crafts. Free. No registration required.
Thursdays, May 18, and 25 from 10:15 am to 11:45 am – Intro to Yoga. Join us for a yoga class taught by Aimee Strohbeck. Please bring a yoga mat and towel and wear comfortable clothing for easy movement. No experience necessary. Class fee is by donation with proceeds benefiting the library.
Thursdays, May 18, and 25 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm – Chair Yoga. This class involves the same poses done in other yoga classes, but modified to make them gentler while sitting or sometimes standing with a chair for balance and support. Class fee is $5. No yoga mat is required for this class.

Wednesday, May 17 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm – Anime Club for grades 6-12. This month we’ll try different types of cakes along with other snacks and drinks, and watch three episodes of anime chosen by the attendees. Free!
Thursday, May 18 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm – Natural Healing. Join Amber, a dōTERRA wellness advocate, to learn more about Reiki, a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation, and the AromaTouch technique, which uses essential oils and massage on the body to promote healing. Our ongoing series of cardmaking classes with instructor Anna Geis continues in May with some wonderful Father’s Day and other masculine-themed cards. A $5.00 supply fee covers three cards.
