The Village of Swanton Public Service crew will be re-routing the water on the SOUTH side of West Airport Highway WEST of South Munson Road near Holiday Lane which will result in minimal flow/pressure in order to repair the water main break that occurred at an unknown time this morning August 22, 2023.

Those affected will be residents along the SOUTH side of West Airport Highway WEST of South Munson Road, Little Learners Discovery & Residents on Holiday Lane.

The crew is planning to slow the water pressure down enough to fix the break without having to issue a boil advisory.

The Village of Swanton is currently running off the Toledo Waterline for the maintenance & painting of the Water Tower.

“Unfortunately, situations like this cannot always be predicted. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

“Public Service & Water Treatment are working as quickly as possible to get the water flowing again. We will continue to update as we have more information”, said Village Administrator Shannon Shulters.
