STRYKER – The Stryker Panthers varsity boys hosted North Central on February 22. The visiting Eagles jumped out early, but Stryker regained control by halftime and never slowed down. The Panthers dominated the second half and went on to win 63-51.
Stryker’s Parker Ruffer dropped 26 on the evening to lead all scorers. He scored 18 from inside the arc, 6 from outsided, and 2 from the charity stripe. Dean Beamont also had quite a night for the Panthers, scoring 17 and doing a lot of it from the line, sinking 7 free throws.
Jalen Dancer was quite a force for the Eagles, scoring 19 points, 12 from inside the arc, 3 from outside, and 4 from the line. His teammates Cam Cochran and Dylan Hutchison also had solid performances, scoring 11 and 9 respectively.
