Vickie Shaffer (1951-2021)

Vickie I. Shaffer, 70, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan.

She was born Nov. 21, 1951, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of the late William H. and Lena I. (Rupp) Shaffer.

After high school, she worked in housekeeping at Bryan Nursing Center for many years.

Vickie is survived by two brothers, Marlin Shaffer of Bryan, Ohio, and John Shaffer of Bryan, Ohio; and three nephews, Dwight Shaffer, Randy Shaffer, Mark Shaffer; three nieces, Crystal Vasquez, Sarah Price and Bobbi Shaffer.


She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Glenna Shaffer; and four brothers, Terry Shaffer, Jerry Shaffer, Loren Shaffer and Paul Shaffer.

To honor Vickie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services held at this time. The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 N. Lynn St., Bryan.


At the family’s request, memorials can be made out to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
