Victor Keough (1951-2019)

Victor A. Keough, 67 years, of Alvordton passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home, Montpelier. Victor was born April 9, 1951 the son of the late Richard T. and Betty Jean (Harmon) Keough.

He was a 1969 graduate of North Central High School. Victor continued his education at Bowling Green State University receiving a bachelor’s degree in Education in 1973 and a master’s degree in Physical Education. He worked as a contractor for Mix Enterprise for 30 years, retiring in 2015. In his free time, Victor enjoyed spending time outdoors, vegetable gardening and cats. He cherished his time spent with his friends and family.

Surviving are three sisters, Linda (Tom) Radwick of Tipp City, Ohio, Susan Gearhart of Pioneer, Ohio, and Debra Mason of Albion, Michigan; two brothers, Bradley (Rebecca) Keough of Seattle, Washington and Scott (Lisa) Keough of Montpelier, Ohio. Victor was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Daniel Gearhart.

To honor Victor’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services. Arrangements are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 202 North Liberty Street, West Unity, Ohio.  

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to Victor’s nephew Malakai Keough’s Go Fund Me Page. The page can be found by searching “Baby Malakai’s Medical Fund” on gofundme.com
