Each time this year, the Wauseon FFA Chapter offers their students a wonderful opportunity to buy an animal and raise it at the FFA animal facility. Students keep the animals in the facility over the summer, and then have the opportunity to take their animal to the fair to show and auction the last day of fair. Through this experience, students learn responsibility and the costs to raise an animal. Animals need to be in possession by each exhibitor by June 1st.
FFA Camp will be occurring this summer on June 23rd through 27th! It will be held 4 hours away in Carrollton, Ohio. To those applying for a state degree will be able to knock this off of their checklist. Students attending this year’s FFA Camp will need a few things. You will need to have your 2 sided health form and the code of conduct filled out and also signed by your parent/guardian. If you are bringing any medication, please keep them in a Ziploc bag with your name on it. All medications must also be in their original prescription bottle. FFA Camp is an extension of school, so the camp’s dress code will be adhered to. No clothing that promotes drugs, alcohol, or tobacco will be permitted.
