Wauseon gets past Edon 7-4

Wauseon April 29, 2014 – The Wauseon Indians used three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break free from a 4-4 tie to defeat
the Edon Bombers 7-4 in a non league tilt Tuesday.
The Indians’ Clay Tefft drove in two runs at the plate. Axel Bueter, Caleb Andrews, Peyten Shadbolt, Nate Suntken and JJ Kauffman also drove
in runs for the Indians.
The Indians pitching chores were handled by Bueter and Shadbolt. Bueter pitched four innings allowing four runs on four hits and strking out three.
Shadbolt came in in relief and gave up one hit and struck out three.
The Bombers were led by Wyatt Zulch’s four RBI on his two hits. The Bombers scored twice in the second and added two more runs in the third inning.
Landon Bloir pitched the complete game for Edon and gave up nine hits while striking out two Wauseon batters.
