Wauseon Indians Slip Past Springfield In 2014 Season Debut

WAUSEON: April 1, 2014 – The Wauseon Indians’ net set kicked off their 2014 campaign in the right way by taking down Springfield 3-2, while the JV unit battled Springfield to a 2-2 draw.

Alex Wenger swept Tim Ablerson (Springfield) 6-3 and 6-4

Levi Rees dispatched Blake Helmmigle (Springfield) 6-4, 1-6 and 6-2

Varsity Doubles

Kyle Blankenship / Fernando Canales fell to Phil Wood / Kurt Metz (Springfield) 6-6 and 4-6
