(September 22nd, 2014): The Lady Indians of Wauseon met with their counterparts from North Central, ready to do battle on the volleyball court. It was Wauseon who came away victorious in both matches, as their Seventh and Eighth Grade teams each won in straight sets.
The North Central Seventh Graders came out swinging, but couldn’t keep pace with the Lady Indians, dropping the set 17-25. Capitalizing on the momentum of the hard fought victory in game 1, Wauseon took charge in the second set, taking the match with a 25-6 win.
In similar fashion to the younger Eagles, the Eighth Graders of North Central wasted no time in game 1. Again, however, it wasn’t quite enough, and they lost the set by the narrowest of margins, 22-25. The Wauseon girls laid claim to game 2 as well, winning the match with a 25-12 victory.
